Insurance Management Consultants Limited was incorporated in 2004 by
the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria to operate as management consultants and advisers to insurance companies
and institutions.
The company is also authorised to provide expertise required in investments, management
of pension funds, insurance schemes and to undertake any business which may conveniently be carried on while engaged
in the business of insurance consultants.

Professor Patrick O. Utomi, MA, MPA, PHD [Chairman]
|
 |
Pat Utomi is a Professor of Social, Political and Economic Environment of
Business and Director of the Centre for Applied Economics at the Lagos Business School of Pan African University.
His background is in Management, Management Consulting, Government and Academia.
A fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, he has served in senior positions in government, as
an Adviser to the President of Nigeria; the Private Sector, as Chief operating Officer for Volkswagen of Nigeria,
and in academia. He is the author of several Management and Public Policy books including the Award Winning
Managing Uncertainty: Competition and strategy in Emerging Economies .
He has been a trustee of Transparency International ( Nigeria ) since its founding. He was cofounder of The
Concerned Professionals, the Civil Society Organisation that led opposition to military rule in Nigeria, and serves
as President of Good Governance Africa, a continent-wide civil society initiative aimed at creating indicators and
generating information that can help civil society hold government accountable. As a Social Entrepreneur, he has
also founded the Centre for Values in Leadership. |

| Okey Odu, BA (Hons), ACIIN, AMNIM |

Okey Odu holds a first Degree in History from the Imo State University . He
also holds the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN), and has done the Master in
Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Uyo . He is also an Associate member of the National Institute
of Marketing (AMNIM).
Okey started his Insurance career with the Universal Insurance Company Limited from where he
moved to MINET Insurance Brokers. He later became the Insurance Officer of Nigeria–Arab Bank (later Assurance Bank).
He moved on to assume the position of head of marketing at Royal Property and Casualty Assurance (later Royal Trust
Assurance). Mr. Odu, from here joined Standard Alliance Insurance as the pioneer head of brokers marketing unit and
rose to become the Regional Director in charge of Eastern operations. He later rose to the position of General
Manager Operations and Corporate Services.
Okey, a Rotarian, has over fifteen years unbroken experience in the insurance industry
spanning underwriting, claims management, business development and strategy, product packaging, broking, reinsurance
and consultancy. |

| Wale Onaolapo, ACII, MBA |
 |
Wale has worked for over two decades both in the underwriting and Broking sectors
of the Insurance Industry.
He was at various times with Liberty Assurance Company Limited, Ban-Doy Brokers Company, Femi Johnson & Company
(Insurance Brokers), Unitrust Insurance Company Limited and International Standard Insurers Limited. His experience
over the years has exposed him to various facets of insurance management, general underwriting, marketing and
information technology. He is an extremely versatile and knowledgeable underwriter.
A holder of the Diploma of the London School of Journalism. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance
Institute of London and a holder of the Lagos State University 's Master of Business Administration degree with
special emphasis in Marketing Management. He is also an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School having successfully
completed the Advanced Management Programme [AMP] of the school.
Wale is currently the Managing Director of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, a company that he joined in 1994 as a
member of the pioneer management team. |
