Methodology

IMC determines the need of each client after the meeting of minds on current situation. A proposal is presented summarizing conceptual agreement of the project and also with details of timing, accountabilities, terms and conditions of engagement.

Four Situations of Business
IMC takes cognizance of the four situations in which businesses can be located namely:

Startup
Turnaround
Realignment
Successful

since the purpose of business is to create and capture value and sustain it into the future, IMC designs its solutions to fit each client's peculiar need within the framework of the situational analysis.

Startup

A situation requiring the assembly of capabilities (people, financing, technology) to get a new business unit or project off the ground.

A startup need not be a completely new organization. New product or brand could be launched in an existing organization. A different type of facility could be built or a new service created.

Turnaround

A situation in which a unit or group is acknowledged as being in serious trouble. The unit could be a particular product, process or facility that is widely viewed as being "broken."

Realignment

A situation where a previously successful organization (a business unit, product, process, or project) now faces serious challenges.

Realignment situations do not require as rapid action as turnarounds. The organization is not in danger of failing.

Successful

This is a situation where the business has record of accomplishments. The need here borders on how to preserve and expand the accomplishments and how to take the business in new directions: "to the next level."

Each of the four traditional situations requires different set of knowledge and skills to achieve desirable and satisfactory results demanded by stakeholders.
